Our Methodology

How we test, score, and evaluate every personal development program.

The 14-Point Rubric

We evaluate every program across 14 distinct criteria. Each criterion is scored from 1 to 10. The overall score is the average of all 14 points. No program is reviewed unless a team member has personally completed it.

Curriculum Depth

Coverage of the topic versus surface-level overview. Does the program go deep or stay shallow?

Scientific Backing

Are claims supported by peer-reviewed evidence? Do instructors cite research or just opinions?

ROI Evidence

Testimonials with measurable outcomes, not vague claims. Can users show results?

Refund Rate Risk

ClickBank refund rate as a proxy for buyer satisfaction. High refunds signal dissatisfaction.

Instructor Credentials

Verifiable expertise of the program creator. Real credentials, not inflated claims.

Time Commitment

Hours required versus outcomes promised. Does the time investment match the benefit?

Support Quality

Community, coaching access, response times. Is help available when you get stuck?

Content Freshness

Last updated date and relevance to current context. Is this advice still valid?

Price-to-Value

Commission-neutral assessment of cost versus outcome. Are you paying fairly for what you get?

Accessibility

Mobile support, captions, pacing for non-native speakers. Can everyone use this?

Upsell Aggressiveness

Whether the funnel is predatory or reasonable. Does it feel manipulative?

Refund Policy

How easy it is to get a refund in practice. Are guarantees honored?

Marketing Honesty

Whether sales page claims match actual content. No fake testimonials or inflated benefits?

Completion Rate

Whether the program structure supports finishing. Or do most people abandon it?

What We Never Do

  • .Review programs we have not personally completed
  • .Assign scores after receiving a free copy from the vendor
  • .Fabricate testimonials or statistics
  • .Rank programs based on affiliate commission rates
  • .Accept payment to rank a program higher
  • .Hide negative findings to protect vendor relationships
